Meet Meriam

I’m a compulsive reader - old newspapers, leaflets, the backs of cereal boxes and the seductive promises on my cosmetics. Most of all, I read romance. A good romance has me gritty-eyed in the small hours of the night, heart in throat, oblivious. I can be a picky and demanding reader; I want to be provoked, challenged and amused. I like books that push boundaries and poke fun at convention. Other times, I simply want comfort and reassurance.

I have favourite authors - Loretta Chase, Patricia Gaffney, Terry Pratchett, Lee Child, Anne Stuart, Carol O’Connell, Jo Goodman - but nothing beats the thrill of an unexpected or newly discovered gem.
