Have you experienced one of those unbelievable incidents or seen one of those amazing type of things and thought: that should be in a book but who would believe it? If so, what was it?
Well, after thinking about it I have decided that nothing comes to mind ….I’ll post if I finally think of something or am inspired by something crazy I see on tv
We wer going to the Phildaelphia Art Museum so my husband looked it up on the computer. Later on in the day a photograph of a woman just appears as our screensaver. When we were in the Art Museum the next day my husband starts yelling for me, which earned him many dirty looks. There was a display of photographs and there was the picture of the woman who had magically appeared on the computer. Then I thought you could begin a book with this.
Some years ago I remember one day having a premonition that something bad was going to happen to my twin sister so I stopped and prayed about it. Next thing I know my sister calls and says that she narrowly missed being in a car accident. We are identical twins and have always had a strong bond and I think the bond between twins would be great to include in a book.
Recently we’ve had two planes crash near our condo one landed in the water near the lighthouse and one crashed into a golf course adjacent to the airport. I’ve always wondered about witnessing such an event… how I would react, others?
After reading Cherie’s entry I thought about Mom telling me that she had this great feeling to pray for her brother and sister-in-law who were on their honeymoon; when they got back they told of this incident where they could have been killed and it was the time when Mom felt the need to pray for them. I truly believe this.
I haven’t seen one but I recently heard about one. One of my friends, friends has a son who has a college scholarship and wanted to become a male model. He has all the makings for that and had everything going his way. He got connected to this girl who took him to NY and drew him into all kinds of bad things. She’s used him to sign up for credit cards that she uses and rings up, stays at expensive hotels under false names and then doesn’t pay etc. It’s an incredibly unbelieveable story of how quickly life can change when your young and you meet the wrong person. I don’t know what the outcome of all this is going to be. Right now it’s a sad story but I hope it will turn out with a happy ending.
Kim, hope everything works out ok for your friend’s son.
I cant personally think of anything either but glad to see a few of you ladies could.
Robyn, glad your relative stayed safe; must have been Mom’s prayer. And Laurie, that IS a coincidence - what are the odds of that happening I wonder. Same with you Cherie.
Maureen I think you take the prize with that incidence. It could be a great start of book - I agree.
I know that one was hard. But it was one of those things I always wondered about because something will happen - usually at work - and I’ll think “no one will ever believe this.”
Cherie, Maureen & Laurie - wow! The kind of things that give a person the chills.
Laurie - One crash is horrible. Two is surreal. Too scary.
Kim - A tragic story. I have to hope that, since he’s young, he can pull out of the sprial and get going in the right direction again.

Or maybe, at times, the lack of bond between twins. I know me and my twin are short circuited every once in a while..LOL
