Whoops I answere some fo this in question 1 - sorry.
There is nothing I do not like in a continuity series except that I have to wait for the next one. I like Lori Foster also - The Temptation Series and the Murphy and Jude’s Law books.
Also Maureen Child’s Finding You/Knowing YOu, etc books. And Catherine Anderson’s Coulter/Kendrick, Jane Graves De Marco Brothers, Carly Phillips Chandler Brothers and Hot Zone books, The Stepp Sisters books by Kathy Love, Rachel Gibson Idaho Series books, Linda Howard’s Sarah’s Child and related books, Mackenzie Series, JoAnn Ross Callahan Brothers, VL Thompson Nerd books. See, I could go on and on.
I like feeling like you belong to the community and that you’re being reacquainted with old friends and relatives.
I don’t like it if they reveal too much of the plot of an earlier release because I don’t always get to read them in the correct order.
I liked all of the series I listed in Question #1, Deb Macomber’s Alaska series, Julia Quinn’s The Bridgerton family series. I tend to eventually buy the whole series. I can’t think of one that I’ve disliked.
I look forward to reading your book Barbara in the Marchand Hotel series. I did read Judith Arnold’s “In the Dark”.
I enjoy series the only thing I don’t like is when they kill one of the characters off in the first book. I like to keep the character going a little longer. I also don’t like when they give out to much details.
Series I do enjoy: Janet Evanovich, Cathryn Fox, Susan Mallory, Vicki Lewis Thompson, Carly Phillips, Alison Kent, Elaine Viets, Susan Elizabeth Phillips, Lucy Monroe and many more.
I like continuity series. With each book you get to know more about certain characters from the book(s) before and they become real friends. I really enjoyed the ‘Texas Trilogy’ series by Sandra Brown.
