  1. Danny Says:

Personally I really love Military and Firefighter romances, but I can’t see anymore PI or DEA agent books. But that’s only my humble opinion. How about a story about an astronaut or something similar exotic? *wink*

  2. kim h Says:

i love atheles and PI. i liket the under dog hero

  3. Minna Says:

I can’t think right off any professions I wouldn’t like to see featured in romance novels.

  4. Crystal Says:

I like fire fighters, military men, cowboys, rich CEOs. Any guy who is confident and sexy works for me. :)

  5. Laurie G Says:

Just about any job can work for me farmer, fisherman, athelete, fireman, policeman ,military man, teacher, doctor, lawyer, construction worker, computer nerd, scientist… He doesn’t have to be perfect… just compassionate, hard working…

I’m leery of the guys that still live with their mothers! I don’t like conceited types no matter what their job is. Therefore, movie star types/rock stars are not a favorite read for me.

  6. Zara Says:

I’m like Laurie, in that if the character is well developed, any career choice can work for me. I do love the Alpha heroes and the jobs that fit well with them. However, I’ve read authors like Vicki Lewis Thompson that can make nerds sexy. So it’s all in the execution for me I guess. Those military guys are pretty hot though! :)

  7. Pat L. Says:

Athletes, cops, fbi and the like, attorneys, successful businessmen, cowboys and men who work with their hands - they usually have nice “tools”.

Cant really think of an occupation that would not appeal to me. Altho’ someone working with snakes or lizards.

  8. Dena Says:

I really like all kinds of law enforcement, firefighters, and smoke-jumpers too. If the hero is a millionaire and doesn’t need to work I like them still to do something with themselves like charitable work or causes.

  9. Angie T Says:

My favorites are armed forces, law enforcement, and government agencies.
I love any hero that has an occupation where they get to kick-a** and take names!
Sports figures are pretty cool, too.
And I have to say, after the brief glimpses of Cash in “Coming Undone”, I can’t wait for his story now! :p

  10. Teresa W. Says:

I’m a big fan of sports athletes as heroes and also men in uniforms!

  11. Kathleen Says:

My vote is for those men in uniform :)

  12. Cheryl S. Says:

I’m a fan of the military heroes and cowboys. Also a fan of law enforcement heroes and single fathers.

  13. RobynL Says:

Any hero is fine so long as the hero is kind to the heroine/children and he is a hard worker and takes care of his own. I love cowboys, medical professionals, etc.

I’m not into rock stars as already mentioned because I don’t know the lifestyle and don’t appreciate the music.

  14. Cherie Japp Says:

Love cowboys, CEO’s, firefighters, law enforcement officers, and military, especially the SEAL’S are great. As long as the plot is good I am there usually.
